Ce jour-là, avant de nous quitter, nous avons présenté les 3 axes cadres du workshop, à savoir 3 principes généraux de projet que nous avions élaboré en amont, pour qu’ils y réfléchissent.
C’était uniquement une base de réflexion, un cadre que nous acceptions de remettre en cause complétement avec les participants. Nous voulions vraiment décider au final avec les propositions des participants. Notre workshop tenait à établir la possibilité d’un réel processus de travail concerté, quitte à que le résultat soit moins important.
We had displayed on the walls of our room a timeline (made months before our arrival) which parallelled history of typography with history of architecture. This day, before parting ways, we introduced the 3 axis of the workshop, that is to say the 3 general principles for the projects that we had elaborated before, so that the participants could think about them.
They were solely a starting point, a framework that we accepted to completely challenge with the participants. We really wanted to decide in the end with the propositions of the participants. Our workshop wanted to establish the possibility of a real process of concerted work, even if the result may end up being less important.
